Now, Exile hasn't been released yet (it's coming out May 7th, 2001) and I'm not sure if and when I'll my hands on it, but from what I hear, it's going to be good.
The story takes place after Riven. It's a story of a man who's world was destroyed by Sirrus and Achenar, Atrus' sons, before the Myst game takes place. I don't know his name, but he's out for revenge. Sounds cool, doesn't it?
I saw a jumpy Quick Time video from a Mac convention and there was a demonstration of the new Myst game. Apparently, the water is always moving no matter where you look, the animations are no longer stationary; you can look at the ground when something is turning and you can see the shadow moving as well. When you look at the sun, you get a glare on the screen and there is a 360 rotation different than The Crystal Key.
I do know that there is new characters to interact with and five new worlds to explore. That's enough to get me hooked already.
